- Get professional deep cleaning every 12-18 months, as it removes dust mites, allergens, and bacteria that may be trapped into the fibers where vacuuming can't reach. Every stain and fiber is different; professional cleaners will know precisely what to use and how much instead of just using one of those "one-size-fits-all cleaners" that can harm the rug.
- Move furniture periodically. Foot traffic and heavy furniture legs create wear patterns, and the best way to avoid this is by moving items around.
